PLANT SALE - May 12th from 9am to 2pm

o   May 8th at 10:15 at the school:  Connie is hosting a “check in meeting” to make sure things are covered with co-chairs for day of sale.  All members welcomed!!

o   In addition to work being done by co-chairs, help is needed from members to set up the day before sale and work the day of the sale.

o   The organization of the plant sale is similar to what it has been in the past.

AUCTION - August 4th from 5pm to 7:30PM
(the date was originally July 21, but was changed to August)

o   April 20th at 10:00 am at the school:  Roxanne and Christy are hosting the first pre-planning meeting.   
o   This meeting will be a kick-off for theme, food and procurement of auction item committees.
o   Please let Roxanne know if you can join this first meeting so we can prepare handouts. 
o   The Honoree for the Auction is Marty Brewer, Superintendent Pioneer School District.
o   Mason Transit Authority (MTA) approved our application last week and they will provide transportation to/from parking lots to school as they did last year.

In addition to the above meetings, remember our two fundraising events:

  • May 12 - 9am to 2pm - Annual Plant Sale
  • July 21 (time TBD) - Auction

Every Thursday morning - Don't forget Yoga Classes
It is time to get back in shape with Yoga before the holidays arrive. If you have a friend or neighbor who you think would be interested in Flow Yoga at Grant School, please give them the information below. The attendance on Thursdays has been light and I want to continue offering Yoga at Grant School because of its convenient location for students.

Thursdays 8:45-9:55 AM, Grant Schoolhouse
151 Community Club Road
Shelton off E. Pickering Road
$10/class. Please bring mat, small blanket, strap and blocks if you have.
